Generally, the concerns with adverse reactions to eyelash extensions have prompted me to offer an explanation to patch testing.
Firstly, there are many types of adhesives used in different salons, and the type I use is specially formulated for eyelashes. Whilst using my usual type, I also offer special types for sensitive eyes. However, it is worth mentioning that we can patch test and no reactions occur, which is great, but this doesn’t mean to say that it is guaranteed that you won’t have an adverse reaction after a full set is applied. In hindsight, if you experience a reaction, then you’ll need to take measures to help it pass e.g anti-allergy pills, antihistamines and removal treatment. Nevertheless, if you’ve experienced this in the past regardless of what salon you went to, or if I’m worried that you’re worried that you might experience it again, then I would say not to have this treatment. Furthermore, I have conducted some research to find a thorough explanation for more insight into the professional objective effects of having this treatment, which you can find in the reference below. Please have a read if you need assistance in clarifying your decision to have an eyelash-extension treatment done.
If you are aware of the potential low adverse risks that could occur and are satisfied with your decision to go ahead with the treatment, then please do book in with me, as I’ll be more than happy to treat you. More importantly, the way that I perform my eyelash-lash extensions is my utmost priority in health and safety. The technique I apply, the products I use, and the before and after care advice I present are developed from my style. Ultimately, this is all to sustain the integrity of the client’s skin and eye hygiene and present beautifully enhanced eyelashes.
Helping you feel lovely!
